History:
H. W. Starke Sheetmetal Works opened its doors during April I951, primarily as a General Sheet Metal Works. Mr. H.W Starke was the sole proprietor then.
During, 1988 Mr. H. W. Starke was joined by his son Mr. Richard Starke. In partnership after qualifying in the air-conditioning and refrigeration trade in Germany. Mr. Uwe Grüttemeyer, an accountant by trade, joined the Company during 1991. The partnership was then converted into
Starke Manufacturing & Airconditioning cc.
Recently Mr. Gernot Friedrich, Mr. Hagen Riedel and Mr. Björn Bierbrauer have taken over from Mr. Uwe Grüttemeyer providing fresh inputs and ideas.
Today this Company is one of the leading air-conditioning & ventilation suppliers in Namibia and due to its Sheet Metal background the company maintains a strong flair for contracts where general sheet metal activities are involved.
The company is currently divided into 2 locations located in the Northern Industrial area in Windhoek Namibia, namely the “Workshop” in Anton Rupert street and the “Warehouse” which is in Etienne Rousseau street.
